23rd Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Supportive Care, Hospice and Palliative Medicine

Event Date

Friday, 18 October 2019

Goal Palliative and supportive cancer care is evolving to an important specialty to deliver optimal quality value-based care to cancer patients. Many clinicians are unaware of the need for whole patient care and attention to symptom management as well as quality of life improvements outside treatment of the primary disease. While cancer therapies are indeed crucial, the evolution of nontraditional health care settings places increasing emphasis on supportive care methods to improve quality of life for patients with advanced disease.
