Dr Babe Gaolebale offers Specialist Palliative care services under the Ministry of Health and wellness based at the National referral Hospital Princess Marina. She is the leading clinician in the field in Botswana with over ten years’ experience.
She has been instrumental in the establishment of key areas that has made Palliative care in Botswana to be recognized nationally and regionally. These include the development of Palliative care guidelines, policy and morphine availability and accessibility. She sits on the executive board for National Standing Committee on Drugs and Botswana Hospice and Palliative care Association. She has publications in Palliative care and cancer care.
