Cesta domu is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation established in 2001, providing registered health and social services to children and adults dying in their home environment. Our budget is made up of donations, subsidies and income from our own activities. Everyone who contacts us will be provided with free information on how to take care of a terminally ill patient. In the City of Prague, we have operated a community palliative care unit for over 15 years. We also run a library specializing in palliative care, publish books on end-of-life related issues and take part in educational activities. As a part of an effort to promote the idea of a dignified end of life, Cesta domu organises charity concerts on the occassion of the World Hospice Day every year. So what's happening this year? Three bands - Houpaci kone, Sunflower Caravan and Tata Bojs, will play for us on Thursday October 5, 2017 at 7 p.m. in La Fabrika, Komunardu 30, Prague 7. Tickets will be available at the beginning of September at the ticket office of La Fabrika and on www.lafabrika.cz. We invite you to a pleasant evening with good music and good people. At the same time this will be a good deed on your part: you will help a hospice in your city.
